Tjip Seng Enterprise was established in Pingtung in 1986. After years of research and development by our professional team led by Chairman Chen Hui-Kuo, we successfully developed our signature Tjip Seng Wolly Carbonised Plywood (Thermally modified) products in 2015.

After high-temperature carbonisation, with almost zero formaldehyde release, our products can eliminate insect eggs. The nutrients in the wood are decomposed into fibre crystals at high temperatures, which significantly improves the shortcomings of traditional plywood. This breakthrough in plywood quality improves construction works and indoor decorations. Our products have become a new benchmark for plywood, which are more durable and sustainable.

Tjip Seng's Wholly Carbonised Plywood successfully obtained the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s certificate as no-added formaldehyde (NAF) products.

Tjip Seng's Wholly Carbonised Plywood obtained Taiwanese Ministry of Interior’s certificates for Green Building Materials.

Tjip Seng started working with three major Taiwanese distributors (Oscar Eagle Co., Ltd., Sun Boon Harn Company Limited, Ho-Tai Enterprise Co., Ltd.) to ensure our products can be easily reached across Taiwan.

Significant breakthroughs were achieved in the manufacturing processes of laminated veneer lumber (LVL). The first F1 waterproof LVL in the market was produced by HuaKeh, which effectively overcame the shortcomings of traditional LVL.

Tjip Seng invested in Xuzhou, China and established Xuzhou Huakeh Wood Co., Ltd. as our manufacturing site.

  • Insect-free and anti-decay properties
  • The high-temperature carbonization process makes the material itself insect-free. After carbonization, the decay resistance of the material is enhanced, thus reducing the occurrence of attacks by termites and other insects.
